  • 10 reverse squats
  • 15 push ups - on your fists
Today's Run:
  • 5 laps
  • 3 steps (to the top)
    Tuesday August 2
    Today's Workout:
    • Stretch
    • 25 each:
      • jumping jacks
      • alternating toe touches
      • crunches
      • leg ups
      • dogs
      • push ups
      • straight leg sit ups
    Today's Run: The "Zipper"(see map)
    • Exit the stadium and run across parking lot to 11th street
    • Run up and over 11th St to Tennessee St
    • Run back up 11th St. to Louisiana
    • Turn left (south) on Louisiana, then turn left (east) on 12th St.
    • Run down 12th to Tennessee, run back up 12th St. to Louisiana
    • Turn left (south) on Louisiana, then turn left (east) on 13th St.
    • Run down 13th to Tennessee, run back up 13th to Louisiana
    • Turn left (south) on Louisiana, then turn left (east) on 14th St.
    • Rundown 14th to Tennessee, run back up and all the way to Jayhawk Blvd.
    • Turn right (north), running past the Union & Alumni Center to Hotel
    • Turn left (west) and run down the hill & take the steps back to Mississippi
    • Cross back across parking lot to stadium
      Wednesday
      August 3
      Today's Workout: 
      • Stretch
      • 11 of each:
        • jumping jacks
        • toe touches
        • volleyball jumps
        • forward/backward hops
        • push ups
        • mountain climbs
        • dogs
        • donkey kicks
        • KU Track exercises
        • "Laura" exercise
        • reverse crunches
        • crunches
        • side lunges
        • v-ups
        • reverse squats
        • burpees
      • pushups:
        • Do a set of 7 pushups, rest, do 6 pushups, rest, ...., continue until you do a single pushup on the last set.
      Today's Run:
      • Sideways on the field:
        • Side shuffle halfway across, then walk the rest
        • Skip across
        • Lunge halfway, then high kick the rest
        • Side shuffle (switch sides halfway)
        • Run fast across
        • Run across field and do 10 push ups, run back and do 10 sit ups
      • 2 steps to top
      • 2 laps
          Thursday August 4
          Calisthenics:
          • Do 24 of each (because 24 out of 28 years of Dog Days, we have been in Memorial stadium):
            • toe touches
            • jumping jacks
            • crunches
            • reverse crunches
            • leg ups
            • dogs
          Today's Run:
          • Run one lap counterclockwise
          • Exit the stadium, run up the campanile sidewalk to the top
          • Return back to the stadium
          • 3 laps
          • 2 grass hills
